Paula Goodspeed, an obsessed fan/stalker of Paula Abdul was found dead in a car outside of Abdul’s California home Tuesday night. The cause of death has been ruled a suicide.  Goodspeed has apparently been obsessed with Abdul, for quite sometime.  Goodspeed tried out for American Idol in 2005, not making the cut to Hollywood.  At some point she made her way there and stalked Abdul.

Paula Abdul has made a statement on this, saying that she is terribly saddend by this event and her heart goes out to Goodspeed’s family.
