Gravy and Biscuits

Country week on American Idol was both cringe-worthy and jaw-dropping. My favorite two performances this week were Kris Allen’s “To Make You Feel My Love”, which was a smart choice in my book because it’s a Bob Dylan tune that just happened to be covered by Garth Brooks, and Anoop Desai’s take on Willie Nelson’s “Always On My Mind“, which is easily one of the best songs EVER.  Not many people can do Willie (heh heh heh), but I’m sweet on Anoop because he says “y’all” a lot and he doesn’t sound like he’s taking a crap when he sings.  I was definitely sad to see Alexis go over Michael or Scott…we need more girls!  Here’s a look at what’s going on at Idol Mania this week:
