David Otunga, better known to most of us as “Punk” on the sleazy deliciousness that is I Love New York 2, got down on one knee and proposed to Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson on Friday night. And, according to her rep, she said yes!
How does one reality reject go from being dumped by a buxom cartoon character on national television to being with one of the prettiest faces in Hollywood? It couldn’t hurt that Otunga graduated from Harvard Law, is hella buff, and one of those sensitive types to boot, could it? Yes, I admit, Punk was always my favorite guy. I’m convinced that he’s secretly gay, but whatevs. That doesn’t matter to most women these days, anyway.
The proposal happened at Jennifer’s 27th birthday party. Her rep confirms: “I can confirm that Jennifer got engaged to her boyfriend David on Friday night in L.A..”
Congrats, you two! But wow, what a wacky couple!

I’m sorry, I just don’t believe it. He was just gonna marry “New York” last year. Either he’s on the rebound from “New York” still, or he never really was in love with her, which makes him a camera whore who only pretended to love her to stay on the show. Either way, it’s not good for Jennifer. She has too much going for her to get into a bad relationship. I pray it all works out though. For Jennifer’s sake. We love you Jennifer!!

I enjoyed watching I Love New York because of her wacko personality. Its kind of funny to watch one of her rejects move up from persuing a “D” lister to winning over a lady on the “A” list.

Jennifer Hudson is getting married to David Otunga a true professional. Newyork reject was Punk, and there is a differance in character, class, and personality. He knew Newyory was rough as a lady and kind of crazy. He really felted bad for the young lady and tried to help. Newyork is a lost call.(hoodrat, trashy). I have seen to many times good mens trying to make a hoe out of a house wife. (don’t work!!!) Newyork ant even on Jhuds level. She don’t even know how to reach a level like Jen’s. Super star level Nweyork will never reach.
