Bristol Palin Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Bristol Palin, the teenage daughter of vice presidential wannabe Sarah Palin, has given birth to a healthy baby boy.

Palin, 18, and boyfriend Levi Johnston, welcomed their new son Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston on Sunday in Palmer, Alaska. Little Tripp weighed in at 7 pounds, 4 ounces.

“We think it’s wonderful,” Colleen Jones, the sister of Bristol’s grandmother Sally Heath (Sarah’s mom), told the magazine. “The baby is fine, and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited.”

Congrats, teenage parents!
