Amos Lee goes on tour with Adele

UK singer Adele has picked folk singer-songwriter Amos Lee to accompany her on her sold-out UK fall 2011 tour. Adele and Lee met in Nashville, after which Adele posted two YouTube videos of Lee on her blog, saying, “I’ve loved [Amos] for ages. Just watched this and I fell a bit more in love with him all over again! Check it out.”

Amos Lee will be performing on Conan on May 9. Most of his US 2011 tour is already sold out, and while I would love to see him perform with Adele, I guess I’ll just have to try to catch him at Bonnaroo and hope that Adele makes an appearance there as well! Lee’s newest album, Mission Bell, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 100 charts.
