Nelson’s folk stylings tell stories through his music much like old-timer Bob Dylan. Hello Music recently compared Jeffrey Philip Nelson’s music to heavy hitters such as Arcade Fire, M. Ward, and Ray Lamontagne. Jeffrey’s music marries acoustic blues, folk, and alternative rock.

Jeffrey recently made his debut album Could This Be… available for free download as a gift to his fans. Check out this link to download album.

About

After being alive for over three years, Gravy and Biscuits finally found its home as an indie music e-zine. The staff is a group of Southerners who love good music, from indie to bluegrass to electronic, and lots in between. Review-wise, we aim to give both intimate and informative reviews without being pretentious. Anybody can use a thesaurus, but we have Southern charm.
