Terrence Howard Won’t be Back for ‘Iron Man 2′
Actor Terrence Howard won’t be reprising his role as Tony Stark’s best friend Jim Rhodes for the next installment of Iron Man. Instead, Robert Downey Jr.’s fictional BFF will be played by Don Cheadle.
Says People:
Cheadle, 43, will step in as Jim Rhodes, best friend to Downey’s Tony Stark/Iron Man, who in the Iron Man comic books later becomes the armor-wearing hero War Machine.
Howard, who appeared in this summer’s Iron Man, was reportedly replaced after negotiations fell apart over financial differences.
At least they replaced a good actor with a great one…and hopefully Cheadle won’t be such a diva!
