Asheville Moogfest Music Festival
Moogfest is a music festival that is held in Asheville, NC every fall around Halloween. Moofest was created in honor of Robert Moog, the American grandfather of electronic music. Therefore, many electronic acts like Girl Talk, MGMT, and Hot Chip play at the Moogfest Festival.

The festival is run by AC Entertainment, the same people who run Bonnaroo and had its first festival in 2010. The festival is largely indoors and is held at a circle of venues in Downtown Asheville like the Asheville Civic Center Arena, the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, and the Orange Peel.
