Bonnaroo 2011: Yet Another Successful Bonnaroo Music Festival

From Thursday June 9th until Sunday June 12th 2011, an impressive 100,000 people flocked to a farm in Manchester, Tennessee. This was no coincidence, they were all attending the 10th anniversary Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, an event that always draws fans from all over the country as well as further afield. Lasting for four days, this year’s Bonnaroo festival featured Eminem, Mumford & Sons, The Black Keys and a whole host of indie sensations such as Matt & Kim, the Head and the Heart and Best Coast.

Everyday, there is so much to do that festival-goers become completely absorbed in the atmosphere and fun of the event. People can forget about their everyday lives, even their hobbies like playing sports or games at OnlinePoker.com, and get lost in the music and activities. People who stay for the full four days and camp for the whole time will have a truly adventurous experience.

The first day saw Sleigh Bells play a late night set that had people dancing crazily around. The second day of the festival saw My Morning Jacket play for a full two hours, allowing the crowd to dance non-stop and get really into it. The dancing seemed like it was never going to end, with The Black Keys playing their energetic Blues music on the third night.

Drama ensued during Eminem’s set, when the skies darkened and a huge storm entered the farm. There was no rain however, only dramatic heat lightening that seemed to fit in quite well with Eminem’s act. The festival’s fourth day was covered in dry dust due to a lack of rain and a surplus of festival goers traipsing around. Mumford & Sons and Arcade Fire also gave extremely good performances and the festival proved to be a resounding success.
