I know most weeks I just list the CDs coming out this week and tell you to go check them out, but may I please go off on a little tangent this week?  This week, there are some truly excitable albums making their debut.  And two of the artists, I was offered opportunities to see for free with press passes, and I didn’t get to go because I wouldn’t have known how to get there alone, and The Boyfriend was just out of the hospital and still really sick. So here’s to you, Animal Collective and Andrew Bird…I really look forward to checking out your new stuff!  If those two albums weren’t excitement enough, we also get new ones from Bon Iver, Lisa Hannigan, and Umphrey’s McGee! So, if you snatch any of these up this week, let me know what you think, k?
