John Cusack’s Stalker Emily Leatherman Arrested

Now this is surprising…John Cusack has a stalker?

Despite a restraining order barring her from approaching the actor, Emily Leatherman was arrested on suspicion of stalking.

As deputies approached the scene they were flagged down by Cusack, who told them he recognized the woman in the cab and that she had been stalking him.

Emily Leatherman, 33, was booked on suspicion of felony stalking, violating a restraining order and petty theft. Leatherman, who was booked at the Malibu-Lost Hills station, is being held in lieu of $150,000 bail, said sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.

“She was arrested and had violated a previous restraining order taken out against her by Mr. Cusack,” Whitmore said.

Cusack, the star of “Runaway Jury,” “High Fidelity,” “Grosse Pointe Blank” and “The Grifters,” told authorities that to his knowledge the woman had not been on his property on Sunday.

Poor girl, I wonder if she held a boombox outside his house and played “In Your Eyes”. I don’t care what anyone says, every girl is in love with John Cusack.

I guess some girls just take it a little far. I guess I will continue to go to sleep with thoughts of marrying JC playing on loop in my brain. And Leatherhead, or whatever her name is, I have something for her too, so she won’t feel left out in the cold.

Someone please alert that girl on the wonders that mineral makeup can do for your skin!

John, break out the pepper spray next time! I bet he has to deal with this all the time. Poor girls just don’t know how to separate fact from fiction. Which is particularly hard in this case, since John practically plays himself in every movie.
