Paris HIlton’s rep has confirmed that she and Benji Madden have split. A source tells Us Weekly, “Even though they are still in love, they felt it would be better to just be friends.”
However, another source claims that Benji was very controlling and Paris will always be…well, you know, Paris.
“Benji was overprotective and controlling. He doesn’t get along with any of her friends. Friends thought Paris had changed since being with Benji and she wants to be herself again.”
Aww, and we thought it would last forever! Surprisingly, the other Madden duo: Joel Madden and Nicole Richie, are still going strong!
