The Winner of ‘Groomer Has It’ Is…
The winner of Animal Planet’s reality show Groomer Has It is….Artist! Why on earth is there a reality show about dog groomers? I don’t know! Furthermore, why did I actually watch it? I have a terrible sleeping schedule, sometimes waking up at 3 a.m., and sometimes not even going to sleep until sometime in the afternoon, and there were always Groomer Has It marathons running in the middle of the night on weekends. If you’ve ever tried to watch TV in the middle of the night, you know how limited your choices are. After watching John Beck tell you how to buy a house “Free and Clear!” for $300 for the hundreth time, a show where people sniff dogs’ butts seems pretty damn entertaining.
So yes, I watched this show, and I was definitely rooting for Artist. There were certainly a lot of stuck up bitches on that show, and I’m not talking about the dogs! Artist seemed willing to take on any challenge and was down-to-earth the whole time. I’m really surprised that douchebag Jonathan didn’t get it, though, because Groomer Has It had one of the douchiest judge panels I’ve ever seen!
So, congrats, Artist, hope you get your own show on the Animal Planet! My dog, Leo, is definitely a fan and is hoping you contact us about some sponsorship grooming! I’ve tried cutting his hair (read: disaster)…it could be your greatest challenge yet! (Photo Below)

i am so glad that Artist won…. He was the only one who cared more about the animals than winning
Congratlations to Artist! He won my vote when he was so compassionate about “Teddy”. After Teddy was not adopted on the adoption challenge, he offered his competitor Jorge’s little dog who was adopted by the elderly couple. This kid seemed genuine and on the last day when I saw he owned a little shih tzu, he won my heart as I am the owner also of a shih tzu. we stick together. I wish this young man the very best success with his prizes and wish him well. He’s a winner in my book. EH
I loved his actions in that episode!
I am so happy Artist won. He is a Doll. As the daughter of the number 1 retired groomer in Englewood, I know a good groomer when I see one. He is an amazing groomer.
I’m estatic that Artist won. He is such a sweetheart. From the very beginning he showed genuine love and affection for the animals that he groomed and did’nt brag or boast about the shi shi poo poo breeds or clients that some of the others serviced. Way to go Artist, and good luck on raising your son and starting your own business
I am so thrilled that Artist won. He consistently showed that although he wanted to win, he was so all about the dogs as well. No one else had the Oomph! that he did, nor did they have the heart that he showed, all the way through the show. I enjoyed his confidence and his honesty when learning something new. I also liked it when he didn’t do well and he took it like a man.
He was the best in the whole show. Hands down!!
