FOX’s Moment of Truth is the worst show on television America can’t get enough of. Where else are you going to see people clapping about things that would get you ostracized in the real world? Yay, he steals from his place of business! Hooray, she cheats on her husband! At least they were honest…let’s applaud!
But Monday’s episode took the cake. Contestant Lauren Cleri went on the show and admitted to being a cheating whore, humiliated her poor husband on national television, and then wound up going home with nothing! Talk about karma!
Lauren Cleri (supposedly 26), went on national television, and admitted to lying, stealing, and cheating on her husband. Her husband, rookie NYPD Officer Frank Cleri (24) of Rockland County sat with family during the show while his wife publicly humiliated him. Lauren said she did it for the money, fame, and was hoping for job offers. She said with the prize money she could leave her husband and start a new life. During the show Lauren was asked if she was a good person, and she said “yes.” The lie detector said she was lying, so she walked away with no money. She and her husband may or may not stay together. If Frank doesn’t leave that selfish, lying, cheating, thief of a wife, his life will always be miserable.
At least she didn’t get any money…now that’s worth applauding!
