A big thanks to the very talented Chris McKay for sharing this video with me. In this Funny or Die video, the original Karate Kid Ralph Macchio‘s family and friends stage an intervention for him. They tell him he’s never going to have a sustaining career in the business because he’s just too freaking nice. So, he embarks on a journey of debauchery (or tries, anyway…he does get to say ‘mothereffer’ a few times) to get himself back on top. It’s cute. I love Ralph Macchio. He is just as cute now as he was to me when I was in the seventh grade and I thought I was going to marry him (I thought I was going to marry lots of guys in the seventh grade). But Ralph Macchio might have been my main-main squeeze.

Personally, I think that it’s great that he emerged from child stardom unscathed by all the sex scandals and drugs that most of his peers have endured, don’t you?  Isn’t it about time someone gets rewarded for good behavior instead of bad?  Well, looks like I gotta go, guys. Robert Downey Jr. and Charlie Sheen are telling me to shut the hell up.

About Gravy and Biscuits

After being alive for over three years, Gravy and Biscuits finally found its home as an indie music e-zine.

The staff is a group of Southerners who love good music, from indie to bluegrass to electronic, and lots in between.

Review-wise, we aim to give both intimate and informative reviews without being pretentious. Anybody can use a thesaurus, but we have Southern charm.
